A cool shirt I picked up at pride this year. :) I like giving money to my fellow gays, thank you! 


Rainbow skirt I got some time back. I can’t recall if I bought this from a friend who makes clothing, or from the hippie clothing store that used to be a couple blocks away.

Dissolving Skeleton hoodie I got at Hot Topic last time I went to the mall. They had a lot of cool clothes, I want to go back again sometime!

Shirt I got from a skateboard shop. I forget the name of the shop, but it was a little hole-in-the-wall place on Dickson street, Fayetteville, AR. This was before covid, so I hope they’re still around…

THE SKIRT TO END ALL SKIRTS!

I got this thing at a comic con last year and it was a long wait and it cost a lot, but it was worth it! This thing feels like a suit of skirt armor, it’s got all kinds of cool Tripp-Pants like attachments, it’s very adjustable, and perhaps best of all, it comes with two giant ass pouches on each side for carrying stuff! The brand is “Kilt Punk”, which I couldn’t find a web site for, unfortunately.

  Dead Space is a survival horror game set in - you guessed it - space! Specifically, the USG Ishimura. You'll follow protagonist Isaac Clarke as what started as a an attempt to fix up a spacecraft turns into an wonderful example of "everything that can go wrong definitely will". The story takes several twists and turns and you'll even get to venture beyond the game's central location a few times! As usual, I won't go too deep into the story because I'd like you to be able to experience it for yourself if you've never played the game! I quite it enjoyed it though, and the game created a good sense of isolated fear while also making me concerned for the safety of Isaac's few surviving crew-mates throughout the game. The combat is very intense as most of the creatures you'll encounter move in a very violent and erratic manners, and you'll want to target their weak points - usually the limbs. Grim Fandango Remastered (PC) Review

Grim Fandango is a wonderfully charming point and click adventure game with a unique style. It's based on Mexican/Central American mythology as well as the film nior genre. There are many fun characters to meet and lots of great comedy. They give you multiple options for control - you can either use the classic point and click controls, or you can move Manny around manually in Resident Evil/"tank" style controls (which I found handy at times to use). It can be confusing to figure out puzzle solutions, but there are plenty of guides available online if you get stuck. I don't want to give anything of the story away so I suggest trying the game for yourself! Overall the game is fantastic, but I have a few small criticisms: The game does occasionally have graphical bugs, but I did not encounter any that hindered my enjoyment of the game.  Most of them were actually very comical to encounter, such as Mannys head disappearing or affixing a lever to Glottis...

Dear Esther (PC) Review

  “A Very interesting, haunting title. I think it could have been improved by a more interactive world, but the narrative is wonderful and the atmosphere is fantastic. It strongly captures the feel of being lost, dirty and alone. The use of words, sound and visuals made me able to easily imagine the sand in in my shoes, and the harsh salty ocean winds against my dry, tired skin. The ambiguous ending is also very clever, which I can interpret in at-least 3 different ways.” -My original review from 2013 2023 Thoughts: My memory of this game (more of a interactive visual novel as there is no win/loss condition) is kind of like a fever dream because I remember playing it after having an anxiety attack when i was spending a weekend alone in my parents house. It helped me calm down, because while it is very melancholy in tone, it's also quite beautiful and peaceful. It's very slow-paced so it's best for folks who love to take their time and explore the world around...
