"Art Crimes" Part 6 - Local art murals and graffiti hot spots

While walking with family this morning, I found some new graffiti and art murals to photograph. I also have a bunch of photos from previous walks to share here, too.

I'll start with the new ones from this morning!

My wife and I used to call this building the "creepy murder shack" because it was painted solid white all the way around, even on the windows and doors. It's a lot more colorful now.

Some asshole vandalized this one by writing "NO" on it, which I've digitally removed. Do thy not know that by taking the time to vandalize this other person's art, they literally imagined a possibility and did exactly what they claimed to refuse to do?

On the subject of murals, here are some other nice ones I've discovered around town.

Lastly, here is a bunch of interesting graffiti I found in a local area that seems popular to both graffiti artists and is a also a nice spacious area for playing with fireworks in.

Dead Space (Xbox 360) Review

Dead Space is a survival horror game set in - you guessed it - space! Specifically, the USG Ishimura. You'll follow protagonist Isaac Clarke as what started as a an attempt to fix up a spacecraft turns into an wonderful example of "everything that can go wrong definitely will". The story takes several twists and turns and you'll even get to venture beyond the game's central location a few times! As usual, I won't go too deep into the story because I'd like you to be able to experience it for yourself if you've never played the game! I quite it enjoyed it though, and the game created a good sense of isolated fear while also making me concerned for the safety of Isaac's few surviving crew-mates throughout the game. The combat is very intense as most of the creatures you'll encounter move in a very violent and erratic manners, and you'll want to target their weak points - usually the limbs. Artist Spotlights - Natalia Trepenok

Natalia Trepenok is artist who makes wonderful animal art for story books. I recall seeing some painted murals in the third S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game that even reminds me of her work!

The Stanley Parable (Steam 2015 PC) Review (Old)

This one is highly recommended! you take control of Stanley, and set out to discover what is happening at your office, with the trusty narrator at your side. Things get interesting when you realize that you can screw around in all sorts of ways, resulting in anything from a happy ending to surreal hilarity to your own tragic demise. Your narrator will do his best to help you along, but he can also only take so much of your bumbling... Pros Brilliant voice acting Hilarious, clever, brutally honest narration Well-made visuals and audio, highly immersive The Adventure Line!
