Our ac unit has been on the fritz, leaking water from a pipe and soaking the carpet. The landlord's supposed to send someone over soon. In the meantime poor Ahriman has been having to change out the rug towels over and over.


I'm more disgusted with the My Little Pony fandom than usual. Yesterday my wife tried to watch a video that was labeled "saucy MLP comedy" and instead it was creepy tradwife bullshit and queer erasure of Lyra Heartstrings. She felt really depressed after. I don't know how many times I've encountered a MLP youtuber who will post something adorable one day and then the following will post just the most ugly, shitty, cynical edgelord garbage. Uuuugh. The bigotry in the fandom is bad enough but I also hate how many people seem to have such contempt for the show's intended positive messages.

Assorted Photos - Misc 01

The Rest of my posts in the "Assorted Photos" series will just be from miscellaneous places.       Big rock near a local shopping area that looks like a frog. A sign I found in a somewhat hard to find area of the Half-Life 2 mod "Black Snow". I never did figure out if it was a secret puzzle or anything.... Our local Harps Grocery Store has a plushie claw machine that I always enjoy looking side of. I don't play it, because claw machines are bullshit, but I love seeing the plushies. This time they had what looks like a knockoff of Sans from UnderTale! Along the usual assortment of adorable colorful animal plushes.

 Natalia Trepenok is artist who makes wonderful animal art for story books. I recall seeing some painted murals in the third S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game that even reminds me of her work!

Dead Space (Xbox 360) Review

  Dead Space is a survival horror game set in - you guessed it - space! Specifically, the USG Ishimura. You'll follow protagonist Isaac Clarke as what started as a an attempt to fix up a spacecraft turns into an wonderful example of "everything that can go wrong definitely will". The story takes several twists and turns and you'll even get to venture beyond the game's central location a few times! As usual, I won't go too deep into the story because I'd like you to be able to experience it for yourself if you've never played the game! I quite it enjoyed it though, and the game created a good sense of isolated fear while also making me concerned for the safety of Isaac's few surviving crew-mates throughout the game. The combat is very intense as most of the creatures you'll encounter move in a very violent and erratic manners, and you'll want to target their weak points - usually the limbs.
