The Cats I knew when I was younger

I was feeling inspired by a cute blog with cat stories I read recently, and went through my drives to find old photos of the kitties I grew up with, so I could share them with y'all.

SOCKS

Nicknames: Old man Jenkins

Socks was my "old man" kitty, who lived an incredibly long time to the point where my cousin and I would joke that he was just immortal. He was a very loud Burmese, and he would make sure everyone knew when he wanted attention. Sometimes he'd pee on things but he was well behaved otherwise. Because he had been present with me throughout my whole childhood and adolescence, I even drew comics about him and the other cats we had when I was a small child.

TURNER

Nicknames" "Turnaround" "The Marshmallow"

Also nicknamed "turnaround" and "the marshmallow". Turner was a tabby cat that was given to my family by my uncle. He was a very quiet kitty that didn't like to be pestered, but once he tripped on catnip he found his voice and got more vocal. He was a very sweet kitty.

ORION

Nicknames "Big Poop" "*assorted strings of various expletives when he pooped on the floor*"

Orion was a bizarre little cat, belonging to my father. He would take nasty shits in front of our fridge, just a couple feet away from the litter-box. He would also try to hump people's chests sometimes. A more cute trait of his was that sometimes when he heard music, he would rock back and forth, drooling. While some of his behavior was quite uncouth, there was a good chance it was due to the poor dear having been rescued from an abusive home before he lived with us.

ROMEO

Romeo was originally a stray that kept picking fights with our cats, but one day he showed up injured at our house, so we took him to the vet and then adopted him. Thankfully, he learned to get along with his new cat family. He was a great big Maine Coon, and very needy. I remember he would get mad and try to open my bedroom door while I was sleeping because he wanted to climb all over me. He also made adorable chirping sounds to let us know when he was about to jump up onto something.

RAFIKI

One of my aunt's cats. Being someone else's cats, I don't have much to tell other than that he was fluffy and cute and made babies with his own mom. He also pooped on me once. That was very gross.

MAMA KITTY/BABIES

Mama Kitty was Rafiki's mother, if i recall. She was a tiny little cat and I think she belonged to my cousin but later ended up living with my aunt for some reason? It was so long ago, it's hard to recall. But she was indeed, quite cute, and also a momma.

Dead Space (Xbox 360) Review

Dead Space is a survival horror game set in - you guessed it - space! Specifically, the USG Ishimura. You'll follow protagonist Isaac Clarke as what started as a an attempt to fix up a spacecraft turns into an wonderful example of "everything that can go wrong definitely will". The story takes several twists and turns and you'll even get to venture beyond the game's central location a few times! As usual, I won't go too deep into the story because I'd like you to be able to experience it for yourself if you've never played the game! I quite it enjoyed it though, and the game created a good sense of isolated fear while also making me concerned for the safety of Isaac's few surviving crew-mates throughout the game. The combat is very intense as most of the creatures you'll encounter move in a very violent and erratic manners, and you'll want to target their weak points - usually the limbs. Thankfully, the game has a cool upgra...
Fractal Space Demo Review (Xbox One) I recently decided to start making a list of interesting looking Xbox One game demos to try out, and I figured as long as I’m trying them out, I could review them too! It might seem strange for me to be reviewing a games demo over its full release, but I can’t always afford to be buying new games, and sometimes I want to buy a game but it has DRM or it’s from a company I don’t want to give money to so I just play the free demo instead. Speaking of such -many companies won’t even put demos out for their games anymore, (or if they do it’s a limited time only DRM affair) so as a potential customer, I want to let y'all know that getting try your game before I pay for the full version greatly increases the chance of me being interested in doing so! All that said, onto my review of this charming little game demo, Fractal Space! Fractal S...
