A cute-looking cereal box my wife and I found. My cousin loves llamas, and she got me to develop a fondness for them as well.

Some American Tale VHS tapes I (used to?) have. I haven't watched these since I was a kid, wonder how they hold up?

If you're familiar with the Youtuber "Doctor Wolfula" then you might see why my wife and I saw this at a store, and thought of it as being a baby wolfulite. :)

It's a bit tricky to make out (hard to get good screenshots of a PSOne game), but I got a kick out of this visual gag in the game Re-Loaded. It shows a parody of the Sistine Chapel painting, "The Creation of Adam", but with Yahweh and Adam pointing guns at each-other instead of fingers.


A very cheerful skeleton from Doom (2016/4). I hadn't yet learned you can actually take screenshots on the Xbox One, but it came out decently. I use him as an avatar sometimes. :)

Assorted Photos - Misc 01

The Rest of my posts in the "Assorted Photos" series will just be from miscellaneous places. Big rock near a local shopping area that looks like a frog. A sign I found in a somewhat hard to find area of the Half-Life 2 mod "Black Snow". I never did figure out if it was a secret puzzle or anything.... "Cougar Squad!" from the Quake 4 video by Civvie 11, I think. He's a really fun Youtuber, go check him out! Some cool and colorful bike racks I found at a Beers and Queers event. The Dickson Street Book Shop seemingly taking a jab at fascist republican losers. A small collection of furry cereal mascots. Our local Harps Grocery Store has a plushie claw machine that I always enjoy looking side of. I don't play it, because claw machines are bullshit, but I love seeing the plushies. This time they had what looks like a knockoff of Sans from UnderTale! Along the usual assortment of adorable colorful animal plushes.

Artist Spotlights - Natalia Trepenok

Natalia Trepenok is artist who makes wonderful animal art for story books. I recall seeing some painted murals in the third S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game that even reminds me of her work!

Dead Space (Xbox 360) Review

Dead Space is a survival horror game set in - you guessed it - space! Specifically, the USG Ishimura. You'll follow protagonist Isaac Clarke as what started as a an attempt to fix up a spacecraft turns into an wonderful example of "everything that can go wrong definitely will". The story takes several twists and turns and you'll even get to venture beyond the game's central location a few times! As usual, I won't go too deep into the story because I'd like you to be able to experience it for yourself if you've never played the game! I quite it enjoyed it though, and the game created a good sense of isolated fear while also making me concerned for the safety of Isaac's few surviving crew-mates throughout the game. The combat is very intense as most of the creatures you'll encounter move in a very violent and erratic manners, and you'll want to target their weak points - usually the limbs.
